Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Mt 11:28-29)

Whether you have been a follower of Jesus for years, have recently come to know Him, or simply want to find out more about who Jesus is, Ascension Presbyterian is a place for you.

We are a group of men and women, young and old, of various races and backgrounds, and in all different walks of life, who have been called together as one – a community of broken but forgiven people seeking to love God, love each other, and love our neighbors.

We invite you to join us on Sunday as we celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ, crucified, risen, and coming again!

About Us

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (Ac 1:8-11)

We live in the blessed hope of the return of Jesus to fully redeem the creation lost at the fall of mankind. To that end, we dedicate our lives to sober living, sound doctrine, love of our neighbors. and worship and glorifying God. Here is a look at what we are about.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. (Ep 2:19-22)
