The vision of APC is to faithfully persevere in the power and leading of the Holy Spirit as we seek to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus to “Go therefore and make disciples,” in our families, church, neighborhood and the nations, in the hope of his glorious return.

The mission of APC is to be a community of worshiping, maturing, and multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ, to the glory of God the Father, by the power of His Spirit and in the hope of God’s Kingdom.

We live this as His body by . . .

Worshiping Jesus:

Joyfully worshiping together as the family of God, with reverence and awe, mindful of our heritage as well as our present context. (John 4:24, Mark 12:30, 1 Corinthians 10:31, 1 Corinthians 14:25)

Loving the Body:

Embracing the blessing of our relationships and the necessity of every member ministering in the Spirit and humbly receiving ministry in love. (I Corinthians 12:7)

Loving our Neighbors:

Sacrificially investing our time, talents and treasure, as individuals, families, and the church as we love and serve our neighbors and the nations. (Philippians 2:3, Mark 12:31)

Equipping for Discipleship:

Growing one another as disciples through on-going teaching, training and opportunities for ministry, in and outside of the church. (Ephesians 4:11-13, Colossians 1:28)

Organizing for Ministry:

Effectively identifying and stewarding the resources and ministries of the church through intentional planning, organizing and structure. (I Corinthians 14:40)
