“Embracing the blessing of our relationships and the necessity of every member ministering in the Spirit and humbly receiving ministry in love.” I Corinthians 12:7 “To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.” This team exists to engraft new members, to nurture the production of fruit in the life of each member, and to build connection and drive relationships in the direction of discipling relationships.

“Sacrificially investing our time, talents and treasure as individuals, families, and the church as we love and serve our neighbors and the nations.” Philippians 2:3 “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as yourself.” The purpose of the Loving our Neighbor teams is to intentionally promote, engage, and actively support our partner ministries as we fulfill our mission to love and serve our neighbors.

“Growing one another as disciples through on-going teaching, training and opportunities for ministry, in and outside of the church.” Ephesians 4:11-13 “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” Colossians 1:28 “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom. That we may present everyone mature in Christ.” The purpose of the Equipping Team is to provide the Teaching, Training, and Sending resources and leadership to fulfill our mission to grow one another as disciples.

“Effectively identifying and stewarding the resources and ministries of the church through intentional planning, organizing and structure.” I Corinthians 14:40 “But all things should be done decently and in order.” The Ministry Support Team is the group of ministries which collaborate together as a part of the “trellis” of APC, serving the “vine” as it flourishes and seeks to produce the fruit of discipleship in the body.
