Join Us for Sunday Worship
- Casual? Formal? As we are neither a formal nor casual church, come gather with us in whatever way you are comfortable.
- We’re Not a Megachurch. On average, there are about 110 people each week, including kids.
- We Share a Building. Don’t be surprised when you show up. We share a building — not the church service itself — with Edmonds Church of God. So if you find yourself in the north sanctuary, keep on walking down the hall to the gym where we meet. They have been gracious landlord for many years, and we very much appreciate their hospitality.
- Our Main Entrance is on the South Side. Ascension PCA meets in the gym space on the south side of the Edmonds Church of God church building. Our main entrance is on the south side. (The Edmonds Church of God congregation uses the sanctuary space on the north/front side of the building.)
- There is Plenty of Onsite Parking. If you need accessible parking, feel free to use the ADA parking spaces in the front of the building if none are available in the south parking area near our entrance.

We read the Word, preach the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word in our songs, and see the Word as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week.
Music
Our music is a mixture of old and new, classic and fresh. We use a piano, guitars, some percussion, and even occasionally some brass and strings. Come join us – we’d love to add your voice to the chorus of praise to our God!

We have lots of kids at Ascension, and it is our privilege to partner with parents in the discipling of their children. While the Scripture gives that responsibility primarily to parents, we believe the covenant community should take an active role in coming alongside parents and assisting them wherever possible.
To that end, we have an intentional stance towards children – expressed by not removing them from our life together and worship, but by including them.
For young children (3 years and younger) there is a nursery available each week. Our kids 4 and older are encouraged to utilize the sermon outlines and activity sheets that are made available for them on clipboards each service.
but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
