Bo is a Pacific Northwest native, growing up just a few miles away in Edmonds. He was a career officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, and now works as a Coast Guard civilian employee doing emergency planning.  He met and married his wife Julie at Green Lake Presbyterian, the church that originally planted Ascension, and they have one daughter, Annie. He was ordained as an Elder at Ascension in February of 2019 and currently serves as Clerk of Session, Safety/Security Team Lead, and Elder in charge of “Loving the Body” ministry areas. His interests include hiking, snowboarding, skiing, and cooking delicious meals with his wife and daughter
